In order to provide a great and safe service experience, Woori Bank would like to recommend to all customers to enhance card safety, avoid identity theft and card fraud.
To prevent fraud arising from using International Visa Debit & Credit Card, please follow the instructions below:
- Do not disclose your 6-digit OTP code of card transactions, PIN number and CVV number to others, even bank staff.
- Use the function Ecommerce Transaction Restriction on WON App if there is no demand for electronic purchases.
- Make payment for merchandise, services on trustworthy websites, merchants… to avoid leaking card information.
- Request the bank to block the card immediately by calling to Call Center (1800-6003) or come to the nearest branch in case the card was lost, stolen or suspected of being leaked information.
- Request the bank to issue a new card and should not continue to use the blocked card.
