About us
Woori Bank is the oldest banking system in Korea with more than 120 years of establishment and development. The very first name was Daehan Cheon-il Bank then changed its name to Sangup Bank. In 1950, the name was changed to Commercial Bank of Korea, after the financial crisis in 1970 continued to merge with Hanil Bank and Pyeonghwa Bank, named Hanvit Bank. In 2002, it officially changed its name to Woori Bank and has existed until now.
Woori Bank has been present in many countries around the world. In each country where the Bank operates, we always invest in community activities and the surrounding environment.
